As President of The Alan S. Harris Group (The ASH Group), Sue brings 25 years of experience working with companies and organizations in the areas of Change, Leadership and Management Development and Training, Process Redesign, Talent and, Performance Management and Communication. Sue leads the development and delivery of innovative products, services and strategies to enhance and sustain the effectiveness of organizations, their processes and their people.
At The ASH Group, Sue works with organizations across all industries, from Financial Services, and Luxury Goods to Higher Education and Healthcare to develop and implement targeted strategies and solutions to achieve substantial and lasting improvements in organizational effectiveness and development. Sue has extensive experience in designing and facilitating strategic offsites and programs. Sue’s insight, energy and extensive experience with strategic change in organizations is reflected in her skill in consulting and coaching leaders at all levels of organizations. Her recent projects have included designing and conducting strategic and leadership offsite conferences for executives in Investment Banking, Banking, Brokerage firms, Insurance Companies, Healthcare organizations, Higher Education institutions and Not-for- Profits.
Prior to joining The ASH Group, Sue was Senior Vice President, at Harris McCully Associates, a boutique human capital management consulting firm. Prior to that, Sue was Vice President Human Resources and Business Innovation at Platform Learning, Inc., and Vice President, Human Resources Development at Empire BlueCross BlueShield (WellPoint, Inc. - a Fortune 300 company).
Sue also spent several years in the insurance / healthcare industry working for St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center as Vice-President of Business Initiatives, and New York University Medical Center as Director of Quality Management and Professional Development. Sue has lectured nationally on the topic of reengineering and process redesign, and is considered an industry subject matter expert.
Sue received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, magna cum laude and her Master of Public Administration with a concentration in finance from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University. She is also a Licensed Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. In her spare time, Sue is a second degree Black Belt and instructor in Taekwondo, and a professional boxing inspector for the New York State Athletic Commission.
