The Spousal/Partner program is available for the “significant others” of candidates participating in our Executive Coaching programs following a move to a new location. The Retirement Counseling program is available to those leaving the paid work force and looking to identify meaningful pursuits to follow as they enter a new phase in their lives.
- Career Analysis-Options Identification-Campaign Development: Candidates are given professional career analysis and formal assessment along with identification and evaluation of career alternatives/interests and assistance with development of a focused job search campaign.
- Researching – Networking: Candidates receive training in how to effectively use informational interviewing, networking, and research techniques. Assistance is given in developing employment targets and specific people to contact. Job market information regarding appropriate industry, function or geographic issues is also made available.
- Resume Development And Interview Training/Negotiating Skills: Each candidate receives 100 copies of their resume to support their job search campaign. Each also receives an analysis of the candidate's personal presentation style, while learning how to interview to make the best impression, including:
· Developing strong responses for the questions most often asked by prospective employers.
· Dealing with difficult issues.
· Developing questions to ask the interviewer.
· Negotiating salary and compensation packages.
- Self-Marketing Techniques: Candidates are coached as to the best ways to approach employers and obtain interviews. Each will develop a personalized marketing strategy flexible enough to allow for alternative job situations. Training is provided as to the most effective approaches to:
· Contact employers to discover unadvertised positions.
· Increase possibilities of being considered for advertised positions.
· Deal effectively with search firms and recruiters.
· Develop effective mail campaigns.
· Handle references.
· Make effective use of follow-up and thank-you techniques.
