ALAN S. HARRIS

With over 25 years of experience, Alan is the Founder and CEO of The Alan S. Harris Group (The ASH Group) a subsidiary of SAJ Partners, LLC a boutique Talent Management Organization, which concentrates on career and life management services. Mr. Harris was a founder and owner of Harris McCully Associates, Inc.
                                                                                      
Alan has substantial expertise in the area of professional Talent Management.  He began his career in 1984 working in human resources management, executive search, talent and leadership development.  In executive/life coaching, Alan is known for his originality in creating individualized programs to fit the needs of both the client and the executive. For individuals in transition, he has successfully devised methods to permit them to not only identify but to succeed in their new roles.  
 
Alan brings his own personal philosophy to his work at The ASH Group, both in setting the tone of the business and in his work style. In many cases, candidates become friends, confidants and at times colleagues over the course of their careers and beyond. Alan has made a point of selecting staff who share his philosophy and his practice methods.
 
Before entering the field of Talent Management, Alan was a senior executive for over two decades in the luxury goods industry. As a divisional President of Yves Saint Laurent, he was responsible for sales, merchandizing, organizational development and corporate staffing. Later as Managing Director of Yves Saint Laurent’s parent company, Bidermann Industries, Alan coordinated all marketing and merchandizing activities globally. 
 
In his free time, Alan is a strong supporter of NAMIC (National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications) for whom he presents free seminars and workshops on diversity issues. Alan facilitates workshops and roundtables for advice on career advancement for Women in Technology and the Women’s Bond Club. In addition he is also a fervent supporter of the Women’s Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
 
Alan received a Masters Degree in Psychology from New York University and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the City College of New York.
